About Us

Doug Bowen owns and operates Pikes Peak Radon. He designs, supervises and participates in every radon mitigation system installation. Doug had 25 years in the construction industry before becoming involved with radon mitigation. With extensive experience in plumbing, ventilation, heating, electrical and a host of other building trades, radon mitigation was a natural fit. Doug's attention to detail is unmatched as shown in his installation photos.
As a staunch proponent of strict adherence to the NRPP's radon mitigation standards and protocols, Doug has served as a field instructor for both the Center for Environmental Research & Technology and the Western Regional Training Center, located on the campus at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. Pictures of Pikes Peak Radon mitigation systems are sent to the state radon office to insure the client of absolute transparency, craftsmanship and compliance with all building codes, NRPP mitigation standards and protocols.
Please feel free to call the state radon office at 303-692-3442 and inquire as to the reputation of Pikes Peak Radon. Checking reviews online is a good idea whomever you are considering to install your mitigation system. Make certain that the mitigator is certified by the NRPP. Certification status is on the state website.
